It's really sad that Ran was being drugged with sleeping pills and that the kidnappers tried to make her rely on efune sensei only so that they could kidnap her. I'm glad that Shinichi noticed and told Yusaku which led to Ran being saved. Whilst the sakura class chapters are very sweet it's really sad to know that Ran was almost kidnapped. When I first started this series I didn't think that we would see their backstory but it's so sweet. I love the fact that they've liked each other since they were young and still love each other to this day. Unfortunately, they can't be together at the present because of the drug but because of this we get to see their sweet moments in their past.

Adorable case with some dark undertones. If Shinichi didn't say anything, who knows what would happen to Ran.

Also that culprit was lucky that Kogoro didn't stop him instead of Shinichi's Dad.
