Nope, there are cases of someone surviving Bullet to the head. Calling ambulance is both a normal and professional action as you must do all possible things to save a life when there is still the slightest possibility of life in them.

Surprise fingerprints on the gun wasn't brought up at all. Unless the dude wiped his fingerprints or handled the gun after checking the body, the culprit would have a hard time explaining how his fingerprints were on the gun.

I like this case, for once it shows that Mouri is not just a walking joke whose role is to be Conan's proxy, but a real detective.

Still, it would have been a lot better if Mouri did solve it on his own rather than "needing" Conan to actually point out all the clues as usual. In the end, still kinda gives off the feeling Mouri wouldn't have been able to solve it if Conan hadn't been around.
