Okay, you could've just said "it should be taken not took on page 24," you don't have to be a dick about it or imply my first language isn't English. Native speakers make these mistakes too especially when there are intervening words, did the four times I used this correctly not clue you in to the fact that this might've just been a singular slip-up? Just for that, I'm not fixing it.
(And if we're gonna be grammar nazis, comma goes inside double quotation marks, no exceptions come to mind)
