Okay but, why is his entire story so far feels like just a setup for this situation? Why are these "high end" people doing bait n switch scheme on this poor clueless guy? Can you call her "family" when she disappeared for 20 YEARS in your life without a shed of info on whatever? These "high end" people seems like to know MC TOO WELL like it's actually crazy stalking behaviour from them. And what about this "mom" who is apparently incredibly "kind" but not to her own son? Is this going to be the father's fault now (if he even exist) or "mom" felt guilty and give him all the thing she had cuz "he's the right person for it"?
I wanna ask the author this : "Have you even get this one really expensive thing from unknown relative and the thing is sooo valuable that it just become a problem to handle?"
I know he doesn't really hate kids that much but it's such a bold and (truthfully) dumb move to give a "high end" preschool to your "never been seen in 20 years" son blindly (if somehow the "mom" is also involved in crazy stalking behaviour, then that's that). Or maybe she's being held captive and just got bait n switched by these "high end" people to be forced to work there and leave her son?
I'm just gonna wait on the main thread at the comment section to see if somebody post a "lore of the mom" there to convince she is not (supposedly) bad cuz this 2 chapter is so really drama heavy for a (supposedly) story about a guy climbing a dungeon tower with an army of little divine kids. And I can't see how any of her action would be enough to convince/tell that she is not a bad "mom", like what if she really got schemed by those "high end" people? then how would she justify involving him in her situation? but then what if she know that the war is happening and she must kept a secret about the thing she is working on? then how would she justify him as "the right person" and not even show face from time to time?
Also, if anybody know something, reply this with the Inline Spoiler or the regular spoiler would be much appreciated.
