i wonder how many other cultures have roast beef with rice. one noodle place i go to has brisket and braised but haven't had a chance to try it (tho their cold beef slices had a lot of fat i had to peel off tho)
i hear beef is pricey in jp/korea even if it's not the kobe/wagyu (other than hamburg steak i guess) so hopefully it's worth the price or a good portion if you do have to pay more
