really enjoying this kind of time leap story to the past where the MC doesn't really have any goal in mind but still solve problem when it arises

Nanamura is being a blind simp. Maybe the story is trying to depict her otherwise, but when I look at Hanamitsuji, she doesn't look like a gentle, saintly girl who would help even a lone wolf out of the kindness of her heart. In my opinion she's doing what she's doing because it makes her feel better, so she's doing it for her own sake, not Nanamura's. She's feeling superior in his company because he's a pitiful loner in her eyes. So, from her high horse position she's mercifully dealing out advice to a poor soul and admonishing him copiously when he doesn't live up to her expectations. The fact she's mocking him reveals her true feelings better than anything else. You can be strict with someone or criticise them harshly for a reason, but when derision enters the picture, you aren't anymore interested in helping anyone.

Dude should really cut ties with her. Even if Hanamitsuji needs someone to bully to counterbalance her good girl act elsewhere, to let out some steam that is, why the heck does it need to be the person who saved her bloody life?

I thought this was pretty obvious, its banter. Some ppl in the last few chapters fail to catch on to that though. Maybe theyre autistic? Idk, but its pretty obvious that she means no ill will and actually likes him a fair bit. Even though im as socially inept as the MC, it’s pretty clear, especially since MC doesnt take it personally. Loners are pretty quick to not engage with malicious people (like with Sakado as of right now).

Man I always don't know how to feel in these types of stories where there's always this one female lead helping the MC become better and form relationships and even romantic interests.
I get the feeling that there is already a coined term for this scenario, I just don't know it yet.

It kind of feels such a waste, but I guess it's just sending the story's message of building meaningful relationships even if it doesn't take a step to the next level.
