the author actually seems to know what they are doing, let me explain why, do you know blue archive? the author made two doujins about it with the first one being about one of the girls getting caught by bad guys and having them play with her body, but they never touch her pussy, only her ass, the moment they are going for her important part sensei(the mc, our self insert) comes and busts their whole operation, and on the next doujin its just a vanilla story between her and sensei.
The exact same seems to have happened with this one, the author releases a doujin where there is partial ntr but never commits to it and now on his fanbox there is a doujin about the mcs of this manga going at it(in other words an extremely vanilla works from the looks of it)
And thats how the author manages to dry both ntr suckers and vanilla suckers, by never commiting to the ntr fully he can just make a part two where the vanilla happens and appease the fans of his vanilla works, quite smart actually but lets see if he doesnt bite a bit more than what he should, the tejina-senpai author situation could happen to him quite easily(tldr of this one, drew non-canon ntr of her characters but it actually involved penetration, the fans didnt like it one bit, was harrased out of the internet)
