Has anyone played any of those old rpgmaker games like ao oni or the witches' house? I am seriously getting those vibes.

It's a weak excuse, but they could just be sleeping from the massive physical and mental fatigue. Hiking can take a lot out of you if you aren't physically active, and they did fall into a large trash hole. I

I have no excuse how that one guy is not screaming in pain from dislocating his arm, or how everyone can seemingly ignore a pile of children's backpack.

Wow they all went to sleep just like that. I'm really immersed in Doubutsu Ningen rn, I hope the author won't make a silly choice like one. Pls pls it's got such a fascinating story & concept lol don't screw it up
