Ah yes, the trusted, if I don't have a real plot just make all the characters misunderstand things and not talk honestly to each other. How the heck have they survived as a party when they can't even be honest with each other? Every love interest has reasons she can't do what the story needs of them, yet none of them have enough brain cells to talk about them to the MC. MC has his own feelings on things, but he never shares them with the girls. How are you hoping for love when you can't even try to be honest with each other?
