In case anyone is curious about what the characters are saying in the inside cover comics (pg. 30-31):

Tutte: Yes…. (It’s hard to refuse…)

Note: Tutte’s thought (my take at least) is that because how exhausted the party looks (means they would have worked hard to check from Tutte’s POV), she didn’t ( or can’t) want to say no. Also the bolded portion is to reflect that Mary emphasizing that it is safe.

Tutte: You did not tell me the hot spring is outside!
Mary: It’s fine. It’s fine.

Note: the literal translation for Tutte’s line is “I didn’t hear that it is outside”, but it doesn’t sound as good in English.
