Why does it say gunpowder was invented 2 million years ago when humans weren't around

It actually says that the stone age was 2 mil years ago and that gunpowder was invented around 700 AD (though if you look it up most sources will say that it was invented in 850 AD, about 1,170 years ago!). Humans were around, just not modern humans (homo sapiens) but rather archaic humans (homo erectus) so I think it was referring to them, assuming you believe in the science behind evolution lol
