Ah, this is where it starts. The "being too popular" that leads to Yamcha cheating, leading Bulma to break up with him and go after an aloof guy that doesn't even care about girls who wouldn't even think of cheating, because all he's going to do is train and fight all the time unless an aggressive girl takes the initiative.
