Hey everyone! Thanks to having a dedicated translator we're going to be putting out comics once every 2 weeks until my backlog of pre-cleaned comics (roughly chapter 36 right now) runs out and then go back to roughly once a month releases.

We again have a few full color pages, colored by yours truly. I'm quite proud of them this chapter!

As an aside though... did they really have to make Leira's chest so damn big on page 29? Not that I'm complaining, but hot damn she's rocking some real dobonhonkeros.. she did have a baby though, so I guess it checks out.

You should check out chapter 36 from one of the other groups (but not the Arabic translation if you want to see the true extent of the debauchery as they did do some modesty censorship)... holy shit... it's basically just entirely fanservice for Leira.

In a way, this is all more epic than Dai's & Co vs Vearn. The lower scales and powerlevels making it so that everyone can contribute meaningfully really help with that.

You're welcome! And I know there are dozens of us, DOZENS, who like this series... but to be completely honest, I really loved the 2020 anime (first exposure to the Dai series) and I wanted to read the prequel manga and when Knights of Carl went missing for like 6 months I was like "damnit, I'll do it myself then." My husband works with Berncastle scans to do a bunch of higurashi stuff, got me set up with the basics to do it myself, and the rest is history. And now that I have Ron helping me by doing the translating, things are a lot easier!

I do it for myself, but I won't lie, I love the appreciation you guys show (who doesn't love compliments?) so I know there are others out there that are glad for the work we do.

Don't be mean. They're really nice guys in that group and they've been helping me to get access to the raws (thanks to new and improved anti-copyright on the newest volumes that have made everything volume 11 onward significantly less accessible for translating).

I can appreciate the technical challenge when it comes to redrawing something thanks to all the sfx work I do - I think they did a good job for what they were trying to accomplish. And while I know you may not like that their culture calls for something more modest (and honestly, a lot of those Leira shots are borderline with how much camel toe is shown), at the same time others might not like that I redraw sound effects or color in pages as it takes away from the artists original vision. To each their own. I'm just glad that more people are getting access to Dai no Daibouken.

I think you might've jumped the gun a little bit. If I was intending to be mean it wouldn't have been such a vague comment like that. I just thought the contrast between the original and what was censored was humorous. I guess I shouldn't accidentally instigate things.
It really doesn't matter though, being able to read this manga is what matters.
