This manga does such a great job of explaining just how easy it is for everyone to fall into these traps. We all assume that we are too smart to fall for these scams, but that assumption just makes it even easier for us to fall victim to it.

wonder if sensei will be able to take down a super strong cult or a more powerful/higher up politician than the ppl he's dealt with before, smaller scams are one thing but i guess it's hard when it's like a nationwide conspiracy theory/cult disguised as a religion

I can imagine some avoiding scams just simply b/c they're too poor and being stubborn to sign anything but it'd be sucky for like landlords taking advantage of some contract and subtly charging higher each time with no one having lawyer fees even if they're in the right

i'd expect one arc to be about a celeb. or some flashback/origin story where we find out Sensei was like the top scammer in the country before changing his ways (but wouldn't blame him if he scammed only bad ppl and kept that money lol)

It’s the Dunning-Kruger Effect, basically - when a person with poor skills think they’re highly skilled because they don’t know their own abilities.

It’s like how they did a survey where a bunch of guys said they could survive one round of tennis against Serena Williams. Some who never even played tennis before.

Morale of the story, be broke enough that you won't fall for them
