I’m sorry to say most of my experience with Duel Masters comes from playing Japanese cards irl, so I may not be the most informed one to help on the matter. However, I am familiar with some of the sims, so I’ll try to give the gist.No stress friend. Thanks for the chapter
How do you guys play Duel Masters? Is there an ygopro like for duel masters?
First off is the official Japanese simulator, “Duel Masters Plays” (デュエル・マスターズプレイス). If we’re making Yugioh comparisons, it’s sorta like the Duel Links/Master Duel of Duel Masters (but without major gameplay differences from the OCG. No speed duel equivalents.) You unlock characters, watch stories, duel NPCs, PVP, and buy packs with in game cash. However, it’s not caught up with the meta yet. If we go by protagonist eras, it’s still on the second protagonist out of four—with the fourth being Win. I believe there’s an unofficial English patch you can download with a tutorial on YouTube. The cards and UIs have human-made translations, but everything else like stories are auto translated.
Another official sim I played on mobile for a bit is “Duema Asobou” (デュエマあそぼう). It’s just a simple tutorial app, but it’s kinda fun and has some cards from the start of Win era. The biggest problem though is it’s not translated at all.
Now, I’m far less familiar with it, but I believe “Untap.in” is also used. It’s a multi-purpose card game simulator with various game presets. I have no idea how caught up it is or the specifics. It’s probably best to go seeking around on the duema subreddit if you want more info on other unofficial sims.
