I think she just got off on it considering the statue is just an inanimate object. We don't know how x rated the game was but i highly doubt a regular jrpg would put in monster sex scenes inside a game. The unlock condition lore is probably just a story and nothing like the real thing.

I mean game mechanic wise it seem tedious to implement but flavor text is another thing that possibly if you look at demon soul or Elden ring but I doubt it would be that dark.

No, it was legit statue in front of a shrine. Demons only exist as summons and they are literal AI scripts (attack, defend, move to and some scripted dialog). This world is a "game world" through and through rather than a game that turned into a real world. So there is literal game logic applying to some parts of the functions.
