p.s if your reading this and you want to recommend a ongoing manga I don't mind

Edging is bad for your health. Don't do it.

Anyways, here are some gems I always find myself re-reading once in a while. (no particular order, no particular theme)
  • The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. : Absolutely hilarious series, a classic.
  • Sankarea : A fine blend of romance and undeads (or rather, immortality?)
  • Pretty Face : Very unique plot with lovable characters. I can't recall how many times I've re-read it.
  • Midori Days : A fairly unique plot as well. Anime gives the sweet taste of 2000s nostalgia.
  • Heaven's Lost Property : Although it gets stupid from time to time, I'm always hypnotized by this one. Underneath some good old 2000's fanservice, a fairly deep story and interesting characters.
  • Kaiji : Ok I admit this isn't finished, but man you gotta see this if you haven't.
  • Parasyte : Fantastic sci-fi comic, must-read. Anime is a 1:1 adaptation.
  • Tokyo Ghoul : Likely one of the greatest nekketsu shounens there is.
  • Divine Nanami : The first Shoujo I've read and the best so far.
  • Actually, I Am… : An extraordinary piece of art, this thing just keeps surprising you over and over and over. Also it doesn't end at the confession scene, which deserves a 11/10 of itself.
  • Devilman : This one left me shocked beyond belief, that is all.
  • Rainbow : If you like deep mature stories, this one's for you.
That's all I can think of. Seinen, Shoujo, romance, fantasy, you'll find all kind of stuff in this list, but I personally enjoyed all of them.

the first 10 completed titles on my myanimelist,
sorted by my score first and then the MAL score,
that have both 'romance' and 'comedy' tags
and you can read it entirely here on Mangadex

to balance out the two titles I highlighted above, the next two on my list are

Tadokoro-san

A nice shortish yuri manga with 4 page long chapters. While I don't think it relies on fan service, your edging will definitely be broken with how it got the pornographic tag for those final chapters.

I've got a few:
  • Dokunie Cooking is by the same author as Sora no Otishimo (recommended above). Actually, I like most of that author's works.
  • Fujimura-kun Mates is a tsukkomi-style comedy/romance that's hilarious.
  • Konojo mo Konojo is a hilarious romcom about a guy who falls in love with two girls and asks for permission to date them both at the same time.
  • Umi no Misaki isn't much of a comedy, but it's a good romance with a supernatural element to it.
  • Tadashi Ore wa Heroine Toshite is about a guy that winds up in his favorite galge... as the lead heroine. The story's good though and the ending is excellent.
  • Ojou-sama wa Love Come no Shujinkou ni Naritai! is about a girl at a high-class girl's school who discovers harem manga and wants to have her own harem.
  • The Voynich Hotel is a Dowman Sayman masterpiece. I recommend all of his stuff, but I'll admit it's not for everyone.
  • Yonakano Reiji ni Harem wo!! is about a guy who meets a girl that only he and his mother can see. She decides to build him a harem so he can have lots of decendents and she won't spend eternity lonely.
  • ConVeni-N is a classic in the bizarre humor style. You'll either love it or hate it.
I wanted to recommend Maga-Tsuki, but it's not complete on here.
