I was expecting the 4 Heavenly Kings to be blown away since the party has been levelling up throughout the series...but to find out that they're actually going easy because they recognised Blade and thought he was bringing his friends on a road trip was funny.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised the heavenly kings won. It would have made the demon race in general pretty pathetic if the students could just win and made Blade's achievement as a hero feel a lot less impressive.

This is one of the rare manga where it has plenty of ecchi stuffs, but the story is very decent, just like Immoral Guild (though it's borderline to hentai, but I digress).

Kinda like how gadget's batteries have a recharge cycle, or SSDs read&write limit.
He used up and recovered mana at absurd pace during his hero times, and is now left with just 4% of his original capacity.

I loved this at the start but then the story has just aimlessly wandered all over the place getting to the point we're it was just TITS & ASS in the hot spring. However, this felt a bit back on track but massively rushed and wholly unsatisfying. We've had peaks like this in the past, like earnest getting married but then it is like Kenny dying in Southpark it all just resets back to nothingness the following issue. Mao is the only character with any development over all these years. It is like the old Scooby Doo cartoon... No growth, no relationships, just a different bad guy to uncover. I read it, but I am no longer invested. It is pulp trash with no soul.
