Gonna be laughing if my dood tries something and gets insta wrecked.
There's probably another method with milk Reid could use to wake her up.

Thanks for the TL

It is so refreshing having one of these series just jump right into the couple thing. No dancing around, no harem, just "yeah we're engaged and living together, whatever." Blammo!

Thanks for the new chapter!

I guess it's pretty frustrating for Tiana to have the means to see Elria in the future but still not be able to stay with her. And not to mention she technically has still not solved the mystery of who killed Elria all that time. But kudos to her for making the world better even after the death of her master.
Well, it seems the former asscrack noble Fareg is really entering his redemption arc this time :LOL:
It's also nice the story is trying to ship the two side characters. That might just be nice.

Yeah, that feels weird. Think about Reid's feeling as a former citizen. Shouldn't she elaborate why did they choose to destroy Altein?
But well, Maybe Altein remnant also fed up with royalty of the empire if we look on chapter one (when that royalty ordered army to attack Vegalta when that country still mourning the death of sage)

I mean purely from a logical standpoint that is exactly what they should do when the strongest defence of the enemy has died.

Thanks for the chapter!

Typos & edit suggestions: @ma_ko
  • p11 Sorry for making you wait Elria-sama -> Sorry for making you wait, Elria-sama
  • p13 After Elria-sama's death, I desperately search for you again. -> searched (though actually, without seeing the raws, maybe the meaning was more like "I desperately searched for a way to see you again"?)
  • p18 Someone reincarnated 1000 years ago (? I didn't understand this part; is the idea that "Someone from 1000 years ago caused you to reincarnate?" or something?)
  • p23 I won't let you take a picture [with this magic camera] and it won't show up. (? I didn't understand this part.)
  • p27 I've already rode -> I've already ridden
  • p27 using magic vehicles but they use a vast amount of mana, so it's mainly used -> so they're mainly used
  • p32 faster than Lord Verminan could fire his magic and erase it, right? -> (in c8p32, Reid stops Verminan's magic after the latter had already cast it, so this phrasing seems off somehow)
  • p32 I just stood still as a mage I can't be like that. -> I just stood still as a mage. I can't be like that. // I just stood still. As a mage I can't be like that. // Despite being a mage, I froze. I can't be like that.
  • p34 Red-san -> Reid-san
  • p34 More importantly you were -> More importantly, you were
  • p34 magic related stuff -> magic-related stuff
  • p36 why did the royal family call you two for -> call for you two
  • p37 if someone really did take Elria's mana then -> if someone really did take Elria's mana, then
  • p37 The next exam we need to make a team of 5 -> For the next exam, we need to make a team of 5

This is actually more realistic than one might think imagining the scenario from a modern perspective. Feudal nations were not modern countries; they did not operate on the basis of "citizenship" but alliegance. Reid was a peasant, and would be expected to be loyal to his liegelord, who would have sworn a vow of fealty to his liege lord, so on and so forth up to the king. The modern concept of a unified state whose citizens are alike in purpose and specifically national identity only really came about during Napoleon's reign. It's what made his political upheavals and conscription so effective.

Reid might have been fighting for his comrades much more than whoever sat on the throne. In that case, destroying the empire wouldn't matter as much to him as protecting the army that he fought with.
