I meant the opposite though. To me, I'm not surprised they didn't expect him to be whoeverthatwas since it seems to be a name given to him by people of some random country and its in their folklore. What I was surprising is him bringing this up nonchalantly when half the audience supposed to not know his identity, unless I missed/forgot the part he told everyone who he actually is.

Other manga try to stuff many things in a single chapter and would feel rushed or sliced up, in this manga it doesnt.
