Congrats on being the only person in this thread with a good enough memory/was paying attention in the first place to piece this together lol, this makes perfect sense and I feel like a fool for not even thinking of that. I got confused, came to the comments, saw that other people were also confused, & assumed we all just missed something lol. At least my assumption about it being revealed mid-fight while something more distracting happened was on the right track lol, nobody remembered it because it was all lies
