I'm don't think this was a takedown request, or at least not one through mangadex directly.
Mangadex has a "Copyright Transparency Report" where you can see their recent takedown requests.

At the time of this post, the only listed requests are for a bunch of Korean works, with the requests sent between 12/21/2025 and 12/30/2025.

For those, the chapter gets hidden but it is at least still listed for the manga via the "show unavailable chapters" checkbox.
But this manga doesn't have that checkbox, so that means the chapter really is gone completely. That can happen if the uploader decided to delete it on their own I think.

Mangadex banned asmodeus and deleted all their chapters. Which resulted in a huge number of series being deleted. There’s another site that they’re available on, but I’m not going to mention it because I’m pretty sure mangadex banned asmodeus for involvement with that site, which scrapes mangadex, and I don’t want to get banned too.
