Came here from Gabai to take a look at your new manga. The description made me think of Hayami Rasenjin, but the first chapter had a different vibe than his manga. No jokes here, but a decent first chapter nonetheless. There are thirteen volumes, which seems a lot for a manga concentrating on the cold war Berlin situation so I hope we can get some Hungary or Czechoslovakia inspired arcs as well, that might be interesting.
The best graphic novel about Eastern European politics ever made is imo "The Hunting Party". Great, multifaceted story by Pierre Christin coupled with unbeatable art from Enki Bilal in top form, just one volume. It's pretty old, but I could find quite a few on Ebay, seems like it has been printed several times in English.
