Looking at the raws, I can say one thing for sure is that the story direction is somewhat different from the WN

In the WN, his evil doings is kinda vague so it is mostly up to the reader to determine what kind of evil deed he has done. But from the raws for the manga, it seems he has done things that is "Disgusting" to some of the heroines which which warrant their hatred.

I havent read the WN for quite a while but my guess the general direction of the story has changed.

They're so harsh and I didn't at all remember what his crime was so I went back and read chapter 1. Looks like he was SA women, theres an image in chapter 1 where he is leading a group of three other school boys to gang rape a fellow student although it was unclear whether that particular case was before he reincarnated into the game or whether that was something the character would have done later in the game (I assume it was something he actually did prior to reincarnation though). Anyways thats not even the crime that he says he would expect execution for. The thing that got him in trouble was that he was going to stab his fiancé at school because was happy when talking to the MC but the MC beat him up and then he got in trouble (removed from succession and exiled).

I think this happened before he reincarnated. As from what I understood is that he reincarnated right at the end of the game. Where was supposed to die off screen.
But could be wrong.

Over all, I really like the twist and the effort the guy is putting it be better. My only wish if he told the princess about his reincarnation or something. As she going nuts with his sudden shift so she will belive him at least.
