Error when reading the chapters of one manga

When reading the chapter list using new haruneko (future replacement for hakuneko) I get this error:

TypeError

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')

This is happening on chapter 108, first started with chapter 107. I have never received this error in any other manga. There could be some kind of corruption in the chapter list for this manga. The developers swear it's not a haruneko problem.

They can "swear" all they want but unless someone provides an example of an api call returning something wrong in the response there's nothing to say that it's on our end, how do you expect us to find anything without any kind of details when things work just fine through the actual site

I might have identified the issue.

The response at https://api.mangadex.org/chapter?limit=100&offset=400&manga=bd6d0982-0091-4945-ad70-c028ed3c0917&includes[]=scanlation_group&contentRating[]=safe&contentRating[]=suggestive&contentRating[]=erotica&contentRating[]=pornographic returns a scanlation group with no attributes.

Affected chapter: https://api.mangadex.org/chapter/1f...lation_group&includes[]=manga&includes[]=user


The group might've been deleted but the affected chapters not indexed properly, a manual reindex from MD side might fix the issue for this one, however, I suggest that haruneko/hakuneko checks if the group relationship doesn't have the required attributes to potentially prevent it in the future.

I've gone ahead and removed said group from all affected chapters, was a dupe of Seikou Scan, but yes, might be other chapters in the same situation, not to mention chapters with a deleted user back when that worked

@doppler just tell them to check the responses for relationship attributes even if reference expansion was requested in the URL, since some relationships might've been kept even if the original object was deleted and they won't return attributes.

I will leave a pointer to this error with Hakuneko discord channel. It worked out so well last time. Maybe it will be a quick fix, resolve the matter.

That error has nothing to do with the previous one or MangaDex. It's a Haruneko issue, contact them.
