Well, that was a little disappointing; same with not fighting Narmer in the Waterfall Woods. But whatever, it's fine, I suppose. Still, I do like that we got to see them using their skills all over the place, and seeing how those looked. That was cool.

Thank you for the translation (why do I find pg 28 with Celia so funny? Also, the author's anecdote at the end was hilarious too).

This chapter felt like a fever dream, the art was sloppy and half-finished, reminded me of anime that scrimp on their budget mid-season.
Unless I'm not correctly remembering the art quality before this point - I guess the newbie artist got overwhelmed and had to rush this out before the deadline.

I guess because of Kazan's (Beastmaster) frantic and wild personality everything devolving into a chaotic mess made sense at least.
Other than them being very aware of the Deep City I don't have much else to complain about (Shouldn't a certain Ygg be VERY busy making sure people are NOT aware of that place?), thanks for this!

I believe the reason they don't show the bosses is probably because 1) it's a spoiler or 2) and this is my personal
belief but they're dead, I'm 90% convinced this plot takes place after the main game. for example, here's a snippet of chapter 8,


Humans in the Deep City, tons of them almost touristy even, in fact the group talk to more humans in the deep city than they do in Armoroad with a severe lack of Yggs.

I'm sure the mangaka is trying to not touch on the main game's story for reasons (called atlus), since even the Untold group did their own thing after the introductions to each other and the main plot with MIKE
