Wow, if not for the Managadex card game recommendation, I never would have found this. Thanks for translating this, it's surprisingly good!
It definitely feels like a manga drawn and written 10 years ago, but that's not a bad thing. Sometimes I feel like manga nowadays are too sleek and have too little dialogue compared to the more dense things we used to get in the past.
I never bought an Etrian game because I play RPG's for the story, but I might buy one of the "Origins" revamps of the original games soon to support the series, and then download the Millenium Girl for 3DS. I'd buy it, but the 3DS store is closed down now.
I'll see if I can't buy the manga eventually and then ask Atlus to bring over the story-focused remakes to Steam or something. The settings and worldbuilding of this game series seems fascinating.

Edit: I know some in Japan complain about "piracy" (I've seen their translated outrage on Twitter) but ironically, fan translations have actually probably created more sales than not, particularly for niche properties like this one. If not for fan translations, I wouldn't have bought manga, games, or even given to artists' patreons as much as I have.
I wouldn't have even known some series or title even existed. Hell, I've even re-read stuff on the official subscription sites when they were finally added to Vizmanga or Mangaplus or the like.
