So what was with the landslide? Was that supposed to be on the village they escaped from? Or is that where they are now and misfortune is following them. Because either would make sense I just don't know where it happened.

yeah i think it's supposed to be the villiage was hit by a mudslide? maybe the mountan godess got mad her curse ran away
