And civilians.. like wtf? Even if this isn't the first occurrence, your first thought is.. 'oh man I'm going to be late for work'? 'Suicide, give me a break'? On another lighter note I want to mention, the cliche of the fusing of their two selves, I was just so heavily reminded of Kingdom Hearts and the nobodies. Especially KH2 with Roxas/Namine. Honestly, this whole manga kind of reminds me of the relationship between Other/Nobody, especially when Nao claims to refuse to be an existence to be absorbed into someone else. Something that Sora and Kairi have said to their other selves because unlike the original selves in this manga, they treat their other half as their own individual with their own lives. (At least the originals area learning..) Hey maybe the novel Aki got this from was Kingdom hearts (you know especially 2's ending)
