It feels like the author wanted to build up a lot of drama where the MC completely ignores her neglectful family and makes them regret but despite MC claim of wanting to leave and it is too late, MC forgive them quite easily and everyone is happy after fixing the misunderstanding.
They didn't mistreat her but they sure have bad miscommunication and display of affection. This is just another of MC misunderstanding.
