It's one of those banishment tropes, right? Where the territory's so peaceful that its lord sees no use for the protagonist and banish them from the area, only to find out later the place is peaceful because the protagonist was there and it has gone to horrendous chaos after their departure?

One of the guilty pleasures of isekai: to see annoying braggarts eat crow. That's why I always pick up every new isekai back then, and then dropping them after the obligatory bar fight at the adventurer's guild / inn. Too bad we don't see much of this cliché anymore.
