Wow... that was a really well done opening, a clear, simple introduction to the 2 main characters. Since the long ago, I have grown fond of stories exploring "heart" and "emotions" within A.I. and by extension, us, humans (eg, GFL). "Heart" is like an inherited product of consciousness, don't you think? With a "mind", comes a "heart" <3
