But I was thinking of dropping this manga because I just started reading for the romance plot and it was pretty much nothing most of the time. And if this really turns into a love rival thing now (which I kind of doubt, it's more likely she has some supernatural powers and needs to be stopped) I would absolutely despise it, because they essentially just got around to actually having progress, introducing a rival at that point just screams no actual progress for me. But we'll see, can't exactly judge it because of this one chapter, if it keeps having progress from now on I would gladly keep reading.
