The world basically doesn't NEED the dragons to be the ultimate life form anymore because life itself has grown strong enough to not need the dragons as sort of protectors. Because life had grown so strong the dragons also grew stronger which ultimately ended up with the current situation where the dragons are so powerful that by simply existing they distort and destroy the environment around them. Igneel and the rest of the elders realized that and accepted their fates

On one hand things are actually getting pretty intense now and I'm actually interested in seeing how they get out of this mess. On the other hand, I'm really scared this is all gonna be resolved with an asspull, which considering the series...

Since the one Natsu is fighting is the real Aldoron I have a feeling Natsu's gonna get an insane power up or berserk state and defeat him, so every enemy disappears alongside with him. I really hope I'm wrong

It's been 55 chapters so far still no major asspulls ( If ) there is going to be then it's going to be minor
Mashima did say in Volume 9.5 afterword he hopes to share a new appeal and side of FT he is still keeping his promise so far

Not to mention there is still no Nakama wins
We should keep hoping it keeps going like this not the other way around!!!

And with two weeks of thinking I'm sure Mashima won't mess it up
The only reason Alvarez went the way it did was because he rushed it to start Edens Zero manga

While here in the sequel Mashima has much time to think unlike Alvarez arc

I want this to keep entertaining me like early Fairy Tail did, I don't wanna be disappointed like Fairy Tail disappointed me with everything during and after the Grand Wizard Tournament (besides Erza's tournament win, that shit was great)

@OnionKnightRises Same I do think he has improved since the 1 year break he took he has much time to think without rushing stuff except for Gray vs Mira he off screened it I guess to progress the story

+ we've been getting character development for Natsu here much more than the orignal I loved Lucy's Star Dress mix too maybe we will see more of it

If this get adapted I cant wait for Anime onlys to see Laxus vs Erza! ( She's Erza ) won't save her this time!

Also they can extend the fights like showing us the full battle of Natsu vs Gajeel and Lucy vs the Siblings And that Gray vs Mira being on screen

I agree about GMG arc it had it's up and downs
