The power of friendship is such a bullshit thing in manga.

The only reason the other 6 slayers did no damage to him was because they were already on weakend state Natsu was not in weakest state But he was exhausted Yes but he had enough strength to break out from the crystal logically and still had the strength to actually damage Spirit Acnologia As you can see in Chapter 542 Acno dodge Natsu's attack because he knows Dragon Slaying magic Can damage him
The other 6 slayers just broke from the Crystal by PoF it's ridiculous I know.
but he didn't dodge the other 6 slayers because he knew they were already Weak they wouldn't be able to damage him
Dragon Slayer Magic is the only form of Magic that works Not the normal magics
The Acnologia they fought in the Time Rift was a weakend Acnologia his strength and durability was splitted in half to Flesh and Spirit his Spirit was the weakest
His flesh was the strongest on the outside of the realm.
His kick would have killed Cobra if they fought the flesh acnologia but in the Time Rift Spirit Acno's kick was weak while it still did major damage to Cobra but it didn't kill him.
The same way with Spirit Acno's punch to Natsu it did a Major damage too but it didn't kill him beause Spirit Acno is weakend he's not the same as outside of the Time Rift.
There was no Power of Friendship involved in between the fights and the speech to Acnologia had nothing to do with the fight at all
And
There is no confirmation that Acnologia is dead. In fact, evidence points to most likely not.
We know for a fact that Fairy sphere did most of the work in 'defeating' him.
We also know that Fairy Sphere erases those under it's effect, until the spell wears off. This is what happened to FT and Tenrou island, when Fairy sphere sealed them from Acno's roar. There was zero trace of them left
Also, Natsu's 7 DS punch did barely any damage. Acnologia didn't get a single scratch from it. But he still disintegrated.
It's possibly because of Fairy Sphere sealing him, and hence 'erasing' him.......for now
For everybody that finished the series I recommend the canon sequel manga it's a huge improvement compared to Alvarez.
From this day I will place my bet Acnologia will come back. And when he does things will get truly Fire! in the sequel

@LuffyxNami00 thanks lol altho you didnt have to do that. I usually stend to stay away from manga that have lists of chapters to skip as I personally think its just hurting the story. Lowkey got bored and checked it out. Thanks tho!

it's understandable because this arc is not good it's rushed because of Edens Zero manga sadly T-T but the canon sequel fixed everything this arc did wrong PoF gotten a huge nerf , No nakama wins and Mashima balanced the power scaling Natsu is no longer a One Punch guy nor Erza!
This arc wasn't the best because it had many problems like fake deaths spams
If you wish to give it a second chance someday I recommend the canon sequel it's a huge improvement! it has Teamwork similar to the Gold Early Fairy Tail arcs
he promised in his afterword Volume 9.5 ( I hope I wil be able to share a new appeal and side of Fairy Tail )
This arc here did abuse Power of Friendship in a bad way Mashima so far has been avoiding the same mistakes he made here
The other problem was he overhyped Spriggan 12 , Acnologia and Zeref that was a big mistake
