Chapter 12 as a whole felt like it was trying to do two different parts of the story at the same time -- serious monster battle, as well as lewd bath scene.

Though… I’m quite sure people will actually have a longer attention span for scenes that requires mysterious lights and steams.

Okay, the LN released in English, so I'll try to make sense of what happened.

The bath scene is mostly filler. The argument about the (fake) Saint bathing in public takes place, as do the nudity sparkles, but that's it. The narrative doesn't really go into what happens when she (he) bathes with the other girls, only that she does.

As for the monkey battle

Spoiler: what was cut

MC sneaks away when her bodyguard is between shifts. Due to game spoilers, she (he) knows a monster stampede is coming. She confronts the monkey boss, but wants to torture them. So MC casts a spell "From the mouth comes evil" (I think MC screwed up a Bible verse), and any time a monster speaks/howls they get struck by lightning. This essentially annihilates the stampede, but the boss is smart enough to figure it out. He fights the Saint, but gets manhandled. He screams at the Saint as he starts to see her (his) sadistic side, then gets hit by lightning and dies.

After the fight, the Saint tries to sneak back into her room, but her bodyguard has returned and is standing watch outside her door. She does run into the Male MC, and he tries to distract the bodyguard, but fails miserably and they both end up getting lectured. The Saint parts with a (unintentionally) flirty statement.

Overall, it feels like 2 or 3 chapter pages got mixed together, out of order, and this is what we got.
