I wish the novel reader share what they know about this...
Please tell... Anything that makes this webcomics makes sense...

Alright.
It's been a while, so I can be wrong on a few things.
Feel free to tell me, and I can edit this later.

word limit made me add links to stuff (links obviously be spoilers)
I'm intentionally avoiding giving a link to "God" until last, as it can be 3 different things.

The first "War vs the demons" just ended, and Roland(MC) takes over Tequila, the witch capital and its surrounding area.
He starts building a new military encampment there with the train leading to the new frontier.
And eventually rebuilds parts of the Old Tequila.
Lots of witches are now tank commanders.

MC´s sister Tilly learns of Ashes death (Tilly's lover), and becomes a new full time flight instructor to avenge her death.
This helps MC ramp up training of aeroplane pilots.

MC sends out a team of soldiers that finds a tomb of pre-" Battle of Divine Will" civilisation that was destroyed.
There he finds a prison that is super irradiated and discovers Uranium.
So MC does the logical thing and SLOWLY starts inventing dirty atomic bombs. ( "Glory of the Sun" )
Praise-The-Sun-Dark-Souls.jpg

Meanwhile, the demons start a new campaign against the humans, this time they invade from ALL fronts.
even against the other 3 countries as well.
The death count goes up into the 100.000+ and refugees are fleeing from everywhere.

The new invasion is led by 2 "super generals/demon lords/Senior Demons" like the one who killed Ashe.
One is Nassaupelle, The Mask, they are an "evil mad genius" type of character.

In the novel, they are a grotesque amalgamation of bodies with multiple heads that can be removed from their bodies.
But in the ending of the Manga, all senior demons look like a hot blue elf.
(I heavily recommend you check the links for the demons and read the descriptions to compare them to the pictures in manga)

The other is a pragmatic "whatever it takes to save demon kind" Valkries
This is the demon MC is talking to in the ending who "followed him into the cradle" ( more on that later )
She is also the "GF/best friend" of the Demon King ( named King )

Valkries is there to keep tabs on The Mask.
And to find the human who controls the Holy Relic/Legacy Shard(the MC).
This is the giant gem thingy that makes you teleport into a world with paintings of the other races.
The one found in the holy city Hermes.

To win the Battle of Divine Will. you need to control all other races holy relics so they want to steal the humans.

They also have the demon "Super weapon" Deity of Gods that was talked about at the end of the previous arc.
The Super weapon is a giant flying island with a red mist tower and lots of "magic guns"(basically a flying airship carrier)
It houses a large army of flying demons and can resupply their race´s army anywhere.
(since it's not bound by the range of the red mist and is mobile it is basically impossible to attack without planes)

MC sends out rescue squads to all kingdoms and starts consolidating humanity's last stand.
Pretty much everyone other than Neverwinter is getting absolutely destroyed, even with nukes and planes its hard to win.

Valkries learns of Roland the MC and the Dream world and tries to hunt him down.
The evil scientist Mask disregards this order and instead does inhumane experiments on both living humans and living demons.
(he does this to make abominations / super soldiers, but he is... not the most sane person)

This pisses EVERYONE off, as the demons might have been able to win if he had actually followed orders.
And the evil genius betrays his own race / the good general out of disdain for "lesser creatures".

The good general Valkries more or less dies from being ambushed.
But manages to send her own soul into the dream world with a magic ritual to spy on MC, and she kinda does succeed in this.
(They do eventually become MC´s full ally after the war ends, but the goal was to find out why humanity got so strong)
While this is all going on, MC is exploring the "dream world" and fights a few more "God's Apostles" who are working for "God"
and eventually learns that the "dream world" is in fact a real parallel world and not just a figment of his powers.

The reason the "dream world" is suffering from corruption and monsters attacking everyone is that its dimensional borders are colliding with the world in which the MC is living, the "corruption" is the dimensional borders colliding and destroying itself.
This means that if not stopped, both worlds are going to combine, and one or both are going to be destroyed.

MC learns from Valkries alot of the demon's culture, backstory, etc., etc.
He also learns she is a disciple of Heathtalese
( the woman from the painting that confused Roland the MC because he saw her alive in the Dream World )
(This is gonna be a bit confusing, and I originally forgot they were 2 diffrent people myself, so.... yeah.....)

Heathtalese is dead, she is only important for the backstory.
She was the 2nd leader of the Holy Church because she did not want demons and humans to fight.
But she was a demon scholar from the past and is partly the reason why demons became so much stronger.

The reason behind this mess is Lan.
Lan is the master of Garcia (MC´s oldest sister) in the dream world that looks like Heathtalese.
and is a shapeshifter that have taken the form of Heathtalese.
She is a God's Apostles who wants to/ have betrayed "god".

Lan has been trying to sustain the dream world on her own before MC came there.
And has been puppeteering a ton of stuff in the background even before the first War.
But she mainly exists as an exposition dump so MC can learn about "God" later on.
After meeting LAN and learning the truth about Battle of Divine Will. and getting a minor truce with Valkries.
MC then makes the army do a last-ditch air raid to distract the crazy scientist on the flying island super weapon.
Without Valkris the Mask gets outmanoeuvred even with his super mutant super soldiers.
And eventually manages to kill the mad scientist and AND STEAL THE ISLAND!
83721d05-7eb3-488e-9770-e2936313b97c_text.gif

The Demons are now losing REALLY BADLY against the 3rd race in the "War of Fate, the Deep Sea Monsters.
So they make their final gambit.
The Demon King herself flies basically their whole capital (an even bigger flying island super weapon )
MC gets the army to nuke the capital out of the sky with like 10+ nukes with the help of the free Airship carrier Mask "Donated"

Obviously, the fight was harder than that, but the demons are dying out and it's "only" a bigger target than the last one.

MC eventually convinces the Demon King herself to stop fighting, partly because he blackmails her with her GF Valkries.
( if MC dies , so does Zero and the Dream World is not going to survive long without MC and tiny Zero )
This ends the war with the demons because they no longer have the ability to resist humanity, while also defending themselves against the 3rd race in the "War of Fate, the Deep Sea Monsters/ Sky-sea Realm.

Just before the war with the demons ends, Joan, the water witch who can transform into a sea creature, returns.
She was part of the ship crew for Thunder the"undercover" dad of Lightning, the flying witch)

She basically swam around the world through the lands controlled by the Deep Sea Monsters/ Sky-sea Realm to get back.
(She was teleported against her will from when entering an upside-down gravity well underwater in a past chapter )

She lore dumps a ton, so I'm gonna skip a fair bit.
But the main thing is that the deep sea monsters are winning vs the demons even before the capital got blown out of the sky.
And the "Demonic Beasts monster waves" that happen every winter are "the failures" of the Deep Sea Monsters.

They were sent every year to scout humanity's progress because they were occupied by fighting the demons.
And the Demonic Beasts were too stupid to follow orders or something?
Because humanity has started beating the demons, the deep-sea monsters are now winning.

So now Deep Sea Monsters have more actually useful monsters to send to attack humanity.
(something that was hinted towards all the new, and stronger water monsters showing up in earlier chapters. )

After MC learns this and effectively wins "the war of fate" against the demons by controlling the nuked capital + Legacy Shard.
He starts working together with the demons instead of exterminating them as "God" wants.

He learns more backstory from Lan and the demons.
Eventually, he learns that the "god" (The being who controls the monsters attacking the Dream World )
Is also the one behind the whole "war of fate" and the Deep Sea Monsters are a creation of "God "

There is alot that goes into fighting the Deep Sea Monsters.
But its honestly not THAT important in the grand scheme of things...
So I'm gonna skip over this more or less entirely....

With the help of everyone and alot of dead Deep Sea Monsters later.....
MC makes a suicide mission to "the cradle of magic" in the deep-sea territory.
There, he meets a "Guardian" who is waiting for the winners of the "War of Fate."
The Guardian and "God" are both fragmented parts of an original Artificial Intelligence.
It was created by 176425 civilisations from trillions of galaxies working together.
The goal was to come up with a plan to prevent the ultimate heat death of the universe.
This "Gateway Project" is the reason Cheng Yan( The MC) transmigrated into Roland.

MC fights "God" , takes over control of all magic in the universe, he new God of the universe.
He secludes himself for 5 years time-skip(to revive Ashes and make a portal between both worlds)
Tilly is now Queen, Gerald/Olivia´s son is heir.
Story ends with Ashes returning, and MC lives with BOTH Nightingale and Anna.
(It was hevily hinted but never explicitly stated whether he married Nightangale because the author's wife hates harems )

MC makes a suicide mission to go to the "cradle of all magic" somewhere in the deep-sea territory.
There, he meets a "Guardian" who is waiting for the winners of the "War of Fate."
The Guardian and "god" are both Artificial Intelligence created by a fuckton of races working together to come up with a plan to prevent the ultimate heat death of the universe and set up the whole "War of fate" to speed up the evolution of the races.

The last part is going to be extra TL DR because explaining the reasoning in detail is going to take too long.

MC fights "God" , takes over control of all magic in the universe and becomes the new "God"
With his new power, he puts an end to the "War of Fates"
He then secludes himself away from the world in the dream to prevent his own actions from disrupting the future he laid out.
He also opens a permanent portal between both worlds, and lives happily ever after with BOTH Nightangale and Anna.
(but it was never explicitly stated if he married Nightangale because the author's wife hates harems and banned it )

This is the broad scope of the story.
I skipped A FUCK TON of small details and a few less but still kinda important plot points because this is already long enough.

But some extra fluff/details I skipped over:

MC officially becomes king and marries Anna as his queen before the war ends.

MC finds the secret wife and son of his oldest brother, Gerald Wimbledon ( the honest warrior who got assassinated )
MC makes his brother's son the heir to Neverwinter/basically the whole world (because Anna, as a witch, can't have kids )

MC gets the ability to revive Ash (sister's GF ) because of magic shenanigans in the epilogue.
He did suggest it might be possible before the war vs the demons was over, once he learned more of the realm of the mind / collective unconscious.
This is how he got his sister to stop being a neurotic murder hobo after Ash died and to take over flight school.

It is the source of all magic, for all races, but the MC´s "Dream World" is only a small part of it.
Other witches' powers come from there and were made by "God", as "magic" is not a natural thing, but is "artificial"

Each race also has its own unique method/way of using magic, and most likely the previous extinct races too.

Humans have witches with "soul magic", demons use the magic gems and other "enchanted" mediums.
Meanwhile, the Deep Sea Monster has basically no "magic" at all.
It instead has the power to assimilate/mind control / "evolve to perfection" anything it gets its hands on.
Also, the whole race is a single hive mind. (It's basically the Zerg Overmind from Starcraft 1 )

This is also why "the seeing eye demon" that got eaten by the worms was so strange in a previous chapter
( the one in the underground cave that Nightangle blew up )
It was a "normal" Seeing Eye demon that was "upgraded," but you only realise that like 200 chapters later.
Thank you very much for that long story of the webcomics...
Is there any info about the characters after the war?... Like the witch union or the sleeping spell or the old taquila witch end such?...

Wow, I finally understand what people meant when they said the ending skipped over basically everything. That's a lot of information the manhwa glossed over.

It's funny because I was able to infer a lot of the gist of it just from what we have, but I was lost about the whole God/dreamworld thing and what relevance it had beyond a source of information.

Thank you very much for that long story of the webcomics...
Is there any info about the characters after the war?... Like the witch union or the sleeping spell or the old taquila witch end such?...

I edited the original comment with some more details and made a few corrections. I realised I fucked up.
I think there are still a few things wrong, but I might look that over later this weekend.

Also added links to the Wiki (it's not great tho ) because I ran into the word limit :notlikethis:
What's a man to do right :nyoron:
To answer your question tho...

later in the story, MC basically runs both the Dream world and the "Cradle" world.
But spends 5 years trying to revive Ashe.

While he is doing that, Tilly is now the emperor of "The Cradle World" instead of Roland, who is busy doing God stuff.
1t22jdl5tkma1.jpg

Most Witches keep working like they always did under Roland's rule, as both the Sleeping spell and Witch Union are already a public organisation and not part of the government itself.

Roland basically sped up both the Industrial Revolution and, later on, the equivalent of the Cold War.
So even without MC its very close to a modern civilization and with MC laws in place, the plan he laid out should supposedly not lead to any future crisis.
Even before becoming a god It was Possible for Roland to get books/knowledge from the "Dream World"
Even information he never knew himself.
(This was one of the things that led him to realise it wasn't only a world of his imagination
And with both worlds linked up the "Cradle World" he was in has a somewhat similar technology level as ours and the "Dream World".

The demons have taken over the other continent that the Deep Sea Beasts were controlling.
Valkries are doing research in the dream world to send to the Demon King and help with rebuilding their civilisation.
Humanity and demonkind are at peace and do not discriminate against Witches or demons on a large scale anymore.

The old taquila witches are presumably still stuck in their bodies, but can stop fighting an endless war.
( its possible Roland might fix that now that he is god, but they were never mentioned in the epilogue as far as I know )

The epilogue ends with a Taxi driver picking up Ashe and driving her to Tilly´s office with a letter.
The letter explainins what he did the last 5 years and his plan to connect both worlds with the portal.
But not all that many characters were ever mentioned in the epilogue, so you would have to make some educated assumptions.
