I actually like Sieg, but I have admit his character fell off the moment he fight Amakusa. Neither have chemistry with each other so their interaction just fell flat. They try to make Sieg/Amakusa as this Shirou/Kirei but this doesn't work as they have little in common and never met before.
Imo Sieg should've been more of Frodo from LoTR. Being that small figure but ended up playing significant role in the plot. You can keep his role defeating Karna as its more personal, but he shouldn't have been the one to be final opponent of Amakusa. Keep that role for Jeanne and let her actually shine in combat fighting Amakusa. Have Sieg never met Amakusa and instead have him do an unexpected thing at his last moment that completely trip Amakusa plan from afar.
Note I haven't really finished Fate Apoc (be it anime or Ln) so I could be wrong here. Just want to get this out of my chest.
