@Ironclad the author of this manga has confirmed they are using the stuff that the creators of the game was supposed to have but they couldn't implement it on time due to deadlines.
It was never meant to be a retelling of CCC, its an alternate route of CCC. Kinda like Fate route and UBW. Its using all the cut content from the CCC data books.
