If anyone's confused at the cat thing, in Lovecraft's myths, Cats are INCREDIBLY POWERFUL. They hold dominion over a section of the world of Dreams, and can kinda gang up on some minor beings and ruin their days. This is the fun thing about cats and lovecraft. The less fun thing is what he named his...black...cat.
