Damn the art is REALLY good and especially beautiful in this chapter. They really want to finish it with a bang especially since it go back on hiatus again.
The conclusion feels short but I especially like how Mash just didn't say much regarding Nero's end. It needs not to be said and her expression more or less tells all we need to know. Good example of "Show, not tell".
Now I personally think it definitely did better with Septem than the game. Boudica gets bigger presence and her development and narrative towards Nero is much better here. Jing Ke didn't do much but she did get a nice feat of assassinating Caesar, and her focused arc is more on LB3 with QSH. Waver surviving and joining Guda's side feels more sensible decision compared to the game where they just killed him. Waver has a strong protagonist aura so I think this makes more sense. Nero was done much better too and especially a treat to see her in dark mode. I think her evil self is also beautiful.
Of course it also helped that the story also viewed in better perspective now that Lilim Harlot gives a better context about Nero, which makes Septem and also Extella and how it all linked makes them all a much better story than previously viewed.
Only big minus is Caesar screentime get completely cut, especially since this is his only time so far he appeared in main story. Lu Bu and Spartacus get cut is a shame too but Spartacus did get his moment in LB3, while Lu Bu in Berserker class has not much to explore unless Chen Gong is also here. Some cut content can't help but happen because they likely already scheduled how many volumes each story has.
Overall I'm satisfied, it could be more since my standard can be a bit high but as a Nero fan I'm happy that Septem can be viewed in a better light now.
