Alex was saying the same thing as he said to Nero in the game, the difference this time is that Nero is in Beast mode which gives different spin to this scene.

Also Nero mentioning her mother in polite tone hmm. Well OG Extra has her mention that she speaks the way she is because she was lectured to be like that to be an Emperor. So its probably just that.
