Favorite manga covers

There is a saying that goes like "don't judge a book by its cover".

This can apply to a lot of book covers, but sometimes a book cover needs to attract the attention of readers so that they would purchase and read said book. The result could either be an amazing book that you read or it could be pretty deceptive.

So, I would like to ask those who read this thread, what are your favourite manga covers? If you guys like the cover of the manga, have you read said manga? If so, what do you think of the story contained in said manga?

So, I would like to ask those who read this thread, what are your favourite manga covers?

Can it be any volume cover of said manga? Because if so my top 3 would be the following:
1.) Candy & Cigarettes volume 4, lolis with guns and sombreros are pretty neat. I have read it and the cover did not lie about the contents of the volume, there were plenty of sombreros, guns, and lolis.

2.) Madoromi-chan ga Iku. volume 1, it's a pretty simple and cutesy cover but sometimes that's all you need to convey the contents of a manga, which it does well. I have read it many times, definitely recommend.

3.) Menhera-chan volume 1, I just like the cover art and message at the top that comes with it: "Gonna have a smile on my face when I talk to you today...", enough said. I think it spells out what the manga is about pretty well.

The cover of the first tome of Hokuto No Ken was perfect and really tell what was in it. And it did become my favorite manga. Also, all the cover of HNK are nice.

The first tome of "To the abandonned sacred beast" also have a very good cover, really intriguing : a young girl with elaborate attire, crying, with a rifle in her hand !

It's one of the few cover that catch my eye and have made me discover a really good manga. The other covers to do that were the 7th cover of Windbreaker with Tsubaki - also the anime is airing, so go see it, and the cover of Shina ultimate. But those last two did not really tell what were in those mangas. I was surprised when i read them !

Bait and switch cover. You would expect a serious story from the cover but what you get is, well, try the first chapter to see for yourself.

Tbh this kinda idiotic quote. Theres like million of book out there, it's IMPOSSIBLE to read and know all the content so judging it by cover is the easier. It's like there million of people you can't possibly trying to know each one of em personal so judging by look is the fastesr

Some may say BLEACH doesn't have good story, but you can't deny the style it has on every cover.

Somehow, I don't know why, but I very like this one. Maybe because it's not an action or sport theme but still intense(for me at least), and this cover (the girl's expression) represent it.
