Because, unlike what we have seen so far, skills are not all-powerfull.Why is he losing tho? Should his Divinity Z make him invulnerable to all damage except demonic power and divinity? why isn't his Demonic Power Z overpowering dragon's breath?

I've been reading manga for about 3 ~ 4 years, and I had came across edgy power fantasy/revenge manga, and it was always weird when the MC decided they had beef with god but relied on the same power source with whoever they had the stated beef with.
Edit: found the reason, though it may be a different case for S. Korea
TLDR; The higher ups abused religion for state control, and capitalism was infused into part of that thread.
