Finally back to the Mc's progression. Author did a nice job building the characters at this point. Let's see what he does in this arc.

Also thanks for the scanlations!!

Man... Eun-sol is such a leader. Love how she kept everyone in check. These past couple of chapters have made me stan even harder for haha. So-wol looks really scary when she loses her shit btw, and is crazy how Ji-tae is able to learn new moves just after one watch. He memorized Maria's combo on Ha-min move by move. Shame he messed up at the end lol.

That last page got me lol.

Assuming that's Ok Dong I pick him to be new MC since the fight game is going nowhere with Maria in it.

It's going to take me a little while to get used to the names.

Poor Ult. Hero. Everyone seems to think he's a bastard for what seems like relatively little reason.

Looks like we're getting some more focus on the MC. We had high points and low points from this tournament arc, whether this manga succeeds or fails will be decided from now on.

He did become like them. His justice is an excuse to fight. "permission" pah, he wanted a reason all along

We haven't seen much of that though, aside from him shit-talking Maria prior to their fight because he thought she was a psycho. To which she responded by brutally maiming him, because she is a psycho.

Like, it feels very "telling not showing" with him.

It was foreshadowed in chapter 24 tho. After he and her gf (now ex gf?) bumped into Ha-min, Tae-young and Ba-ram having lunch. Ba-ram told them how Young Woong used to bully the bullies in their middle school and "rule them with violence".

After his flashback during the fight with Maria we were led to believe he was doing it for Justice after his girlfriend told him about the death of her brother. However, this chapter revealed he was just looking for a reason to justify his bloodlust, thus proving that Tae-young was right all along when saying that his righteous personality was most likely a facade.

@Mangareader Yeah it's very similar to how he learned to do the heel hook after watching a video on YouTube. The dude is gifted but his conditioning is lacking and he still needs to work on the fundamentals. Also, since he never did Martial Arts before meeting Maria, he's way behind compared to the rest of his class.

Yeyyy, Eun-Sol is bestest

was getting annoyed at the Young Woong scenes

then he got dumped, and I was like HEH

guess we know who's the next stepping stone for our MC

The MC is currently nowhere near YWoong. He's not that far behind the rest of the class considering even at the beginning of this arc it took TYoung going all out to beat him, so obviously his hax eyesight will allow him to progress fast. But YWoong is nearly Ha-min level, he was able to land a pretty good shot on Maria. The MC might be able to fight him in two arcs time, but he is definitely not the next stepping stone, since that will mean the MC will leapfrog basically the entire class.

@Sigilbreaker26 Actually, it's not that Tae Young had to go all out to beat Ji-tae. She went easy on him at first, trying to get a feel for his fighting style. After he tried to armbar her, Tae Young simply got fed up with him and decided to end the fight. My point is, Ji-tae isn't close to her level either, and that will become apparent in future chapters.
