It's nice seeing Byleth pop off a little.
For a second there I thought we were going through another story alteration where Hortensia wouldn't commit a capital offense. But it seems that part is still intact. Makes sense. It's kinda too important of an event to change, at least without making anything worse.

Is it just me or is the pacing a bit rushed here? She went from going into Solm, to taking the queen hostage, to fighting, to conceding all in one chapter. Considering in the game, it was "the fight for solm", I expected a bit more lengths. But I guess they intend to keep one chapter per chapter.
