Pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Amaterasu, the Japanese Shinto goddess of the sun. Adora means "love". Sol is the name of the god. My guess is the machines powering everything, as well as the people with adora burst have some relation to the sun as a source of power, or the Nether exists on/in the sun?
