I'm really curious to see where the author goes with this character (the shirtless blonde guy forgot his name lol) I thought he'd be a throw away but it looks like there might be more to his character ?? looking forward to seeing where this goes thanks for the translation

Also, I knew this plot point about the MC's friend falling for ML would come, and yet I'm still disappointed by the use of this cliché.

he's studying high school stuff? so is he not as old as we think, or was he just held back?
this story so far feels Cheese in the Trap-lite. like the black-haired guy (Yoo Jung, Seungmin in this case) with a sketchy past making you distrust his current intentions, and then a random bad boy blondie (Bek In Ho, Ryu) with questionable education bulldozes into your life. the protagonist is also the skittish distrustful type like Hong Sul.
not that i mind, i love this type of setup. but i feel like the backstory with the bully concept has already been implied to be false (Seungmin thought to himself "I should tell her...")--there was apparently a reason he was hanging out with that gang, and we haven't been shown that he actually bullied people himself, so some of the mystery feels deflated. well who knows.
i always laugh when these normal dudes in manhwa take off their shirts and have perfect six packs and big man titty. like when do they have time to work out like that as broke college students lmao
