Follow Option 'Up-to-date'

Please make a follow option that automatically marks a series as completely read but still leaves a series in 'Reading' status so updates properly appear. Currently there's no way to mark a series as read while leaving it as still being 'Reading' without manually hitting the eye for each chapter. If you mark a series as completed it does mark each chapter as read, but all future chapters are automatically marked the same way which makes this pointless. When you switch it back to reading then you lose all progress on all chapters of the series as well. Another way around this is to change a series automatically from 'Completed' to 'Reading' if a new chapter happens to be released. It's incredibly unlikely that a user is gonna start reading a series, especially a short one, after they hit the follow button in the first place which defeats the purpose of tracking what you're reading with the following feature.

That will effectively do the same thing I am asking, but it's not quite as comprehensive in how people would generally read manga on this site and also seems like it would be something much a bit more difficult to implement than what I'm suggesting since the completed button effectively does most of what I'm asking already. An option on a drop-down menu is much easier to code in compared to a completely new button and feature to mark/unmark all chapters as read.
