I remember reading a manga years ago so I don't have much detail.
MC wakes up and he is reborn as a monster under the control of the necromancer whom he now has to serve. MC is not actually under the binding spell but pretends to be. The necromancer is an old dude whom the knights are searching for. I believe the knights were ranked by stars. There is an up-and-coming rising star/knight who is a female. She had a conversation with the MC before when he was sent on errands by the master. I think he was buying potions at the time.
